Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal provides a faster, gentler way to remove unwanted hair with great results for both men and woman. The LightSheer Laser System uses a state of the art 805nm diode laser, which ensures safety for all skin types. Repeated laser pulses target existing hair, creating a direction of energy into the hair follicles that prevent future growth. The LightSheer allows us to truly customize treatment for your hair type, skin type and lifestyle by utilizing 2 different hand pieces and technologies. LightSheer is quick, painless and there’s no need for topical numbing cream.
The HIT technology or High-Speed Integrated Technology incorporates suction to elevate and stretch the skin. In doing so, the laser achieves maximum absorption into hair follicles and fast coverage of large areas, which minimize the sensation of heat.
In addition to the LightSheer high technology system, if also uses a proprietary cooling system to momentarily numb the skin to minimize any discomfort, while compressing the hand piece to the skin to rotate the follicle and enabling better results. The LightSheer takes minutes and gone are the days of painful zapping of the skin and long treatment appointments.
Whether you’re looking to get rid of unwanted hair on your face, back, legs, arms, bikini area or any other area of the body, laser hair removal is the most effective, long-term solution. So say good-bye to the hassle of tweezing, waxing, shaving, depilatories and electrolysis. Ditch the razor and switch to laser and say hello, to softer, smoother, silkier, hair free skin.

When considering laser hair removal, it’s important to know that all hairs grow in cycles, but not all hairs are in the same cycle at the same time. For this reason, several treatments are required – usually 6-10 with a period of 4-6 weeks in between. When having laser hair removal treatments, it’s important to follow these guidelines:

Laser Vein – Broken Capillaries/Spider Veins
Facial Telangiectasias, otherwise commonly known as broken capillaries, are dilated or broken blood vessels. They are small clusters of red, blue, or purple veins that are visible and are closer to the skin’s surface. They may vary in size and are typically found on the face, nose, chin, and cheek.
They can develop from scrubbing your face vigorously, rosacea, damaging the skin, even alcohol can contribute to broken capillaries. Telangiectasias can also be found on the other parts of the body such as the legs, chest, back, arms, legs, and lower extremities.
At Neigel Center, we treat broken capillaries with The Lumenis VersaPulse Laser. The Lumenis VersaPulse Laser safely incorporates a specific beam of light, 532nm that targets the telangiectasia, redness, and vascular lesions underneath the skin. The targeted broken capillaries or lesions absorb the laser’s energy and are heated up, coagulated, or closed down. Depending on the severity of these broken vessels, a series of 3 to 4 VersaPulse treatments are recommended.
Spider veins are enlarged veins that are greater than 0.2 millimeters but less than 2 millimeters in width. They are usually blue or purple. While often flat, they may protrude, especially when standing. Sclerotherapy still remains the most effective non-surgical method for removing spider veins.
FX Laser for Skin Rejuvenation and Tightening
Fractional Resurfacing is the gold standard in lasers. This fractional technology stimulates the formation of new and healthy skin and new collagen, providing greater elasticity and support. A high-energy beam of laser light interacts with the skins surface, causing the upper layer to peel off and regenerate a layer of new, healthy skin.
The laser beam is applied in a fractional pattern, leaving small “bridges” of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much faster and enables you to get back to normal activities sooner.
FX can dramatically improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, dark spots, and other irregularities on the face, neck and chest. The results will give you firmer, tighter skin and a more youthful appearance. Your skin will not only look healthier, but it will be healthier.
FX Laser can be used for Cosmetic purposes to treat:
- Wrinkles, Fine lines
- Stimulates collagen growth for skin tightening
- Crows feet (wrinkles on the corners of the eyes)
- Age spots and sun spots on the face, hands, body
FX Laser can also be used for Medical purposes to treat:
- Rhinophyma (enlarged oils glands on the nose)

- Other benign skin growths
Benefits of Fractional Repair:
- Better results compared to non-ablative treatments
- Minimal downtime
- Minimal chance of pigment loss
- Safe and effective for all skin surface areas
- Promotes tissue contraction and skin tightening
- Your appearance continues to improve over a period of up to six months
- Can be performed to delay more invasive surgery such as a facelift
